Today we did pages 58-61 in our blue books for a starter. Then we finished notes over section 12.1. SECOND BLOCK: Instead of notes we did 12.1 directed reading in class.

Today we did chapter 11 in the green workbook for a starter. Then we finished our notes for section 11.2.

Today we did pages 47-51 in our Blue Books for a starter. Then we went over the 11.1 directed reading work we completed for a “Get Ahead” or in class. During the last part of class we took some notes over section 11.2
Today we did our transparency masters over isostatic adjustment, stress, folds and faults instead of a starter. After that we split into groups:
Get Ahead group: we demonstrated the difference between brittle and ductile rock with Silly Putty, then we investigated anticlines and synclines with Play-Doh.
